Excited about Free to Succeed Seminar

In a couple of weeks, I will be attending a Photography seminar held by one of the worlds best Wedding Photographers in David Jay. David will talk about the Photography business as a whole and just sort of lay it down on how to get better in photography but also how to grow your business.

I'm also excited because one of David's friends who has really grown her business in the past couple of years, will be there also, the one and only Jasmine Star. She is an incredible talent that really just seem to blossom in the past year or so. I understand Jasmine will also speak and hope to gain as much knowledge as I can, as I grow my business.

Here's a video of David Jay shooting Jasmine Star's wedding in Hawaii. Beautiful!

Welcome Home Marines!!!

I had the honor to photograph a company of Marines that arrived yesterday after an overseas deployment. If you haven't been to one before it is really an amazing experience. You see lots of anticipation,  excitement and finally relief from loved ones.

Gerard and Evelyn

Gerald and Evelyn are such a fantastic couple. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Two people from different cultures, background and families, but share a dying love for each other.

Their smiles and affection for each other reverberated throughout the reception. Thank you for allowing us to share your timeless moments with my family and I.

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July. My family and I decided to head to downtown San Diego for the Big Bay Fireworks display, the largest in San Diego County. It quite a display, there were 4 barges situated around the bay. We stationed ourselves on Coronado Island, looking back at the City of San Diego. Below is a picture I took during the fireworks.

Congressman Glenn Chong

Last Sunday I had the privilege to meet a Congressman from the Philippines, Glenn Chong, who represents the District of Biliran. We met at the residence of the President of the West Coast Navalian Association, Teresita Strozier. Tita Cita as we call her was kind enough to invite me to take photographs of the occasion. Below are few of the pictures.

In Memory of Felomino A. Bersabe

Earlier in June, the Bersabe Family asked me to Photograph the Funeral of Felomino A. Bersabe, a father of 11 children. I was a bit apprehensive as I have never photographed an event like this, but if the family was willing to have a Photographer, how could I say no.

The family was incredibly nice and went out of their way to make sure I was taking care of, even while grieving for their father. Thank you Bersabe Family for allowing me the opportunity and privileged to document the last goodbyes of your Father.
